What are your favorite pastime hobbies outside of work?
Bernie and Cate both love to play golf (while not always well) and have a lot of fun doing so – 4.5 hours of uninterrupted time together is the best part.
Bernie enjoys cooking on his new smoker as he likes to be a grill master whenever he gets the chance.
One of Cate’s top values is creativity and to fulfill it, she enjoys creating beaded jewelry and painting.
Last year, they bought a puppy (Rosie) and she has become a delightful addition to the family. And of course, the best time they spend is with their grandbaby Charlie (aka Charlie-Girl) as often as they can.

What is your role at Jambalaya Group?
As the owners of Jambalaya Group, they feel their roles are to be leaders, providers, guiders, and growth-engines of the organization. Formally, Bernie is the CEO and Cate is the CFO. Both strive to work hard while having fun, and ensuring JG is offering the best services possible to its clients.
Fun Fact!
Bernie and Cate had never been to Europe prior to five years ago!!! Their first trip “over the pond” was to Scotland, Ireland, and England. They enjoyed the British Open, driving on the other side of the road in Ireland, and spending time with Bernie’s parents who joined them in England. They definitely have the bug to travel abroad in the future and would love to visit Italy again (they went there as their second overseas trip for their son Anthony’s wedding), Spain, and Greece as their next adventures!
