Human Capital Consultant

What are your favorite pastime hobbies outside of work?

We are very recent empty nesters with a few daughters in college and another one living her best life in Colorado. Freddie and I now spend our time visiting them and traveling whenever possible. Our four fur babies (2 dogs and 2 cats) keep us content at home. I recharge my batteries by being outdoors… hiking, swimming, floating, relaxing with a great audio book and watching my daughter, Toni, play softball.

What are your top 5 values?

Integrity, relationships, accountability, health and fun

What is your role at Jambalaya Group?

As a Human Capital Consultant, I am responsible for coaching and consulting in operations, HR practices, and leadership skills via 1:1 and group sessions. I work closely with emerging leaders and those already holding leadership positions who are driven to develop themselves and their teams.

What is the last book you read?

I spent the last 7 or 8 years as a road warrior traveling for softball tournaments with our daughters, so my library is full of David Baldacci thrillers that can keep you awake after sitting in the Texas heat for 12 hours a day.

I just started a new audio book called Killers of the Flower Moon that was recommended by a neighbor who grew up in the town where the story is based. It covers the demise of the Osage nation and the birth of the FBI. It’s a true crime story and a real page turner!
